Juliet qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 1989 after a successful career in secondary education teaching physical education and dance.
She has worked at Selly Oak Hospital, The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital and South Birmingham Community NHS, and in the private sector, specialising in musculoskeletal problems. She was one of the first physiotherapists to work in Birmingham GP practices. Working within these environments has made her aware of the importance of honesty in all areas of practice, respect towards patients and their wishes and trustworthiness in professional accreditation.
She formed her own private practice in Cornwall focussed on movement and exercise rehabilitation, assisting clients to achieve their best possible outcomes after injury, long term hospitalisation or chronic dysfunction. Training to become a STOTT PILATES Certified Matwork and Reformer Instructor has combined her keen interest in movement analysis and past experiences in the world of physical education and dance.
Her move to Wiltshire fills her spare time with plans for a new garden, but she also enjoys swimming, exercise and long walks in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside with her partner. She is a member of The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, registered with The Health Professions Council, a Physio First member and The Royal Academy of Dance and a past director of Birmingham Youth Dance.
